Are you a glass half full or half empty person???
Do you wake up and start the day on a downward spiral:………the weathers crap; I haven’t had enough sleep; my toast is burnt; the traffic is bad; there is that annoying colleague that I have to deal with……….and so on and so on.
Or do you start the day planning for it to be a great day……I am glad
that I am healthy, I am glad I have two healthy kids to get brekky for, I love
listening to my favourite CD on the drive to work, I am grateful to have a job, etc. It is very easy to be negative but it is way more fun and satisfying to
be positive. Now some days you really do have to scrape the bottom of the
barrel to find things to be happy about…I get that…but you know
what…there ARE ALWAYS things to be grateful for. Let’s face it being positive
makes us happier and healthier and being negative puts us in a crap mood and
literally affects our health…….I sure as heck know which one I’d
rather….SO cheers to our half full glasses and let’s all make this month a
full glass month! Every time you feel yourself going on the downward spiral,
STOP, and think of 5 things that you are grateful for. Let us know how you go???????
