What have you been focussing on??? 1st of the month reality check.

So if I focus on this chicken it will grow??????

Well another month has gone by, hope yours was happy. It is time again for our first of the month reality check.

This month we are taking a look at the theory that “what you focus on grows”. If we think constantly about lack of money, then we attract a lack of money. If we spend a lot of time thinking negatively, we will feel negative and negative situations will follow.Have a think about the week that has just gone by…..what did the bulk of your energy and focus go to? What issues were you thinking about? Did you have concerns that were always in the back of your mind?

When you ask yourself these questions, relate them to different aspects of your life:

Work:did you put in a good effort? Are you positive about your job? or do you complain and make lists of all the things you dislike about your job?

Relationships: Were you kind, loving, understanding? Did you think positive thoughts about those closest to you? or Do you make mental lists of all of those niggling little habits that those closet to you seem to love to bug you with?

Health: Are you happy with the amount of exercise that you did? Did you eat a balanced diet and spend time planning nutritious meals? or did you think about that weight that you can’t shift, did you worry about the fact that you don’t have enough time to cook healthy meals and did you feel guilty because you just can’t seem to find the time to go for a walk?

Money: are you grateful for whatever money you have? Are you thankful that you had enough money to pay one of your bills? or do you worry about the lack of money and focus on all of the things that you don’t have?

Were you surprised to learn that you spend more time than you would like thinking/focussing on worries, negatives and problems?? Or are you happy with where your focus lies? If we can realise that focussing on negativity creates negative experiences, than surely we can make a concerted effort to trying to make each day’s focus, one of positivity and gratefulness?

Can you make some changes to attract more positive situations in your life?
