Searching for answers?

Do you look for answers or are you more of a questioner? This is not a riddle or even a trick question? With this in mind, think about your life, your goals and your happiness. Think about whether or not you are on an endless quest to find some mysterious, hidden key to unlock all of the answers to the questions of life, or do you prefer to ask yourself questions about what you can do to improve your life?
Okay, I know this is sounding confusing so let me try to explain it another way….You want to make dinner, you go shopping to buy ingredients for dinner and you race around buying random ingredients with no real meal in mind….that is the equivalent to looking for answers, looking for the pot at the end of the rainbow, looking for the secret to happiness with no real clue as to what you want. If you were more of a questioner, you would approach it differently, you would ask yourself what you want for dinner, what do you need to cook this dinner, make a list and go shopping for the specific ingredients to make your meal and then cook up exactly what you had planned. I think many of us run around looking for answers, looking for the hidden clues or a quick fix and never seem to find the answers that we are so desperately searching for. You can’t get an answer if you haven’t asked a question. So, instead of waiting for an answer to appear in a magical puff of smoke, how about you start asking yourself some thought provoking and life changing questions? Change cannot come about without making some changes. What is it that you actually want from life? What really matters to you? What makes you happy? Are you proud of who you are? Are you a grateful person? Do you treat others well? Are you a conscientious worker/student? What are your goals? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Are you realistic? Are you true to yourself? Do you enjoy life or are you merely getting by? Are you genuinely trying to be the best person you can be? Do you look after yourself ? Are you happy with the life you are living and if not what do you plan to do about it?
So in a nutshell, you can’t get answers if you don’t ask questions. You can’t improve your life if you have no idea of what it is you actually want? You can’t increase your happiness if you don’t know what it is that makes you happy. You can’t achieve goals if you have none. You can’t become a better person if you don’t ask yourself what it is that you need to do to change. The answers are not hidden behind a bush, locked in a mystery treasure or at held in the mind of some mystical guru, they are within you and questioning yourself on what it is that you want and how you can improve will shine a light on how to become truly happier.
So my question to you is what questions do you need to ask yourself? How can you be happier, healthier and more positive? Make today the day that you stop looking for answers and start asking questions………
