Short and sweet today – A quote to really think about the next time you start judging or fault finding.
“Whenever you are about to find fault with someone, ask yourself the following question: What fault of mine most nearly resembles the one I am about to criticize?” Marcus Aurelius
No one is perfect. When we work on becoming more self aware and look at our imperfections we can try to change and be more compassionate to others and ourselves. Let’s judge less and care more.
So true Michelle. It seems like we can sometimes find fault in others so easily. Every once in a while we need to take a good look at ourselves and see if we are starting a pattern of finding fault. I think there is a connection in doing this and how we view ourselves. Good point asking ourselves if a fault we have resembles the one we are finding in others. None of us is perfect. We are all just trying to do our best and kindness always is the key. Love this post 🙂
Sometimes finding fault is an easy way to look into the mirror to check our own faults – it really helps our faults to stand out. Self awareness can be hard. Thank you for stopping by.
