Music makes me happy. I listen to it while I’m driving, cleaning and any other chance I get. The louder the better. I have my Spotify playlists of all my favourite tunes that get played on repeat. Out of the blue popped up my 2021 “what you’ve listed to list” which gave me a smile and a little mash up of all my favorites. This got me to thinking – what if my top thoughts of 2021 also showed up on my phone and showed me what I had been thinking and ruminating about for the past year??
Let’s face it – 2020- 21 has not been easy. In such difficult and everchanging times it can be hard to stay positive and even harder to feel happy. All studies show the more resilient you can be the more likely you are to adapt and be able to cope with day-to-day challenges.
The road to happiness is not a one size fits all, do one magical thing and you get to live happily ever after. This is a natural instinctive reaction to a threat. Well you do realise that we too, are animals. Do you realise that when you are angry that you are actually afraid?
Do you ever feel that walking through life is a bit like walking a tightrope? Some days go smoothly and some days you are gripping tightly onto the balance bar struggling to keep any stability at all. Continue reading →

I see each value as a jigsaw puzzle piece and putting them all together makes the perfect picture of you. Do your values align with the way you are living? Continue reading →
Now let me think…what do I want my new normal to be like?
Remember the good old days??? Life rolled on and was what we fondly called normal. 2020 has thrown normality on it’s head and tossed us around like waves on jaggered rocks. In the rush to get back to normal we have an amazing opportunity to use this transition time to consider how we actually want our future normal to look. Continue reading →
