I have been so stressed out lately and I am feeling so bloated.

From time to time most of us will go on either a diet or health kick of sorts. We may wish to shed some excess kilos, eat healthier or just to increase our level of fitness…….all great incentives to improve our health and wellbeing. We all know that when we are looking after ourselves that we feel better about ourselves and in most cases we become happier. When we diet we decide to eat less sugar and fat and eat more meat, vegetables and fruit. We decide to exercise more and couch potato less. We take the stairs not the elevator and Lucky the dog gets a daily walk.

Every time I find myself in a bit of a rut, low spot, and negativity is seeping in, I come to the realisation that I am losing touch with my gratefulness. I start looking at moments of the day, people I come across and situations from a negative standpoint. It really brings me down. I have to slap myself, pull up my socks and start looking at things from a positive light. This month we are taking a look at the theory that “what you focus on grows”. If we think constantly about lack of money, then we attract a lack of money. If we spend a lot of time thinking negatively, we will feel negative and negative situations will follow.Have a think about the week that has just gone by…..what did the bulk of your energy and focus go to?
