Do you unintentionally invite stress into your life? Do you go about your day totally unaware of the stresses/tensions that surround you? Are there areas of your life where frustrations are a daily occurrence, when they really don’t need to be? Maybe you don’t even realize that the strain is there or that you are being affected? We know that stress and especially continual stress can cause illness and unhappiness, so doesn’t it make sense to try to eliminate as much stress as we possibly can? Wow! An entire month has passed between posts. I have been so busy and had not even realised…….Well it is 1st of the month reality check time again! For this months reality check, I have decided to look at “The law of attraction”. It is a difficult lesson to learn, but sometimes the hardest of lessons to learn are the most valuable…………..

Sometimes life lessons show up in places you would never expect……would you think that  your kids weekly school newsletter would make a lesson you have been trying to grasp but still can’t get, clearer?????????????? I wouldn’t.  In a recent newsletter the Principal wrote about the law of attraction…………basically in a nutshell it says that what you have in life you have attracted.  This is by no means a new law or concept but it is one that we/I seem not to grasp. Following on from our Random Acts of kindness post,(see under Health and Well Being Heading dated 12 Aug 2011 ), another shopping experience made me think of a new post.  I bought some milk and a bunch of scourers, (exciting shopping, I know) and when asked would you like a bag I said “No thank you, I shall just carry these”…………walking out of the shop juggling my shopping with my purse I felt a sense of “goodness” come over me as I had done the “right thing” and did not waste a plastic bag.  It made me think how it definitely feels good to do the “Right thing”.  Continue reading
