“Gratitude turns what we have into enough”.
Do you realise that when you live each day grateful for what it brings, that you magically lose that sense of lacking? When you are grateful for what you actually have, somehow what you have can be enough.
How many times do you hear people saying things like: “When I have more money I will be happy; when I get a better job I will be happy; when I get a partner I will be happy” and so on. If those people changed those thoughts of wanting into being grateful for what they actually do have, then maybe what they have will seem like enough.
This is not to say we can’t aspire to have or be more but if we make a plan to go through each day being more grateful then hopefully we can feel better about ourselves.
